John Odey, has cautioned advertising practitioners in the country on the need to imbibe high ethical values to ensure the survival of the advertising industry which is being threatened by activities of quacks and other malpractices. Speaking Thursday, during the Advertisers’ Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) annual public forum in Lagos, John Odey, represented by Mrs. Nancy Oghenenkaro, of the office of the Ministry of Information and Communications, harped on the need to strengthen the code of advertising practices and correct possible defects which give room to some of the malpractices that exist in the industry.
