Expertise shortages will continue increasing vertically and horizontally, most significantly in roles that specialise in creative artwork and strategic planning. “The past year has been a significant one for the advertising industry in the Middle East,” Flagship Projects Marketing managing director Shadi Al Hasan said. “As the region sees an unprecedented growth across various sectors, there will be further boost in demand for creative specialists who really understand the nitty-gritty characteristics of the market. The supply of professional expertise in the region is unable to meet the demand and agencies are recruiting more from overseas to compete for the limited talent pool, he added.

The LED screen is being installed in the main footbridge connected tothe Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (“HKCEC”) under an agreementwith Polytown Company Limited, a subsidiary of the New World Group. Lightscape will pay a fixed rental fee and earn all of the revenuegenerated from advertising sales.
