com assistant editor. This year WWE bought ad space on the hockey boards at the New York Islanders’s home arena to advertise WrestleMania 25. The ad displayed at the Nassau Coliseum in the NHL team’s playing area features a picture of John Cena with a WrestleMania 25 logo and the words “Live on Pay Per View April 5. According to a report we received it’s difficult to even see the WrestleMania ad on TV. “You can’t even tell there’s a WM ad there because you can’t read it” Torch reader Mikey Metz reports.

CLINTN IWA -– Five Ashford University students and alumni won “Addy Awards” on Thursday Feb. 12 for their advertising and marketing works during the Quad Cities Advertising Federation”s Addy Awards Show 2009. The competition was judged by local professional graphic artists. “Two of our students were double winners and one of our sophomore students won the top prize a gold Addy” said Dr. Charlie Minnick Dean of Ashford”s College of Business and Professional Studies.
